Full accessibility information

Detailed accessibility statement.

This accessibility statement applies to the UniWays Global main external website, uniways.org.

Making this website easier to use
This website is run by UniWays Global. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. You should be able to change colours, contrast levels and fonts; zoom in up to 200% without text spilling off the screen; navigate most of the website using a keyboard; use it across devices; use speech recognition; and listen using a screen reader, including current versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver. We also aim to make our website text as simple as possible to understand. AbilityNet offers advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
Known accessibility limitations
Some video content does not have captions, and captions or synchronised transcripts may be automatically generated and contain errors, especially with complex technical terms. Our videos do not have audio descriptions. Some PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen readers, including supplementary CPD course forms needing student and employer sign-off, a small number of non-business-critical Global Sustainability Institute PDFs, and some regularly updated materials that support NHS staff mentoring healthcare students. We are investigating ways to digitise or improve these documents, and aim to ensure new versions are accessible.
Feedback, reporting problems and enforcement
If you need information in another format — such as an accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or braille — email accessibility@uniways.org and include the URL of the page you need. We will consider your request and aim to respond within five working days. Please use the same email address to report an issue not listed in this statement. The Equality and Human Rights Commission enforces the accessibility regulations. If you are unhappy with our response, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
Continuous review and improvement
UniWays Global is committed to website accessibility in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. We have a rolling programme for updating content and design in accordance with WCAG guidance, user testing and user feedback. We use Siteimprove to monitor and report on the website, helping us identify and prioritise issues. This statement was prepared on 15 August 2023 and last reviewed on 12 October 2024. Siteimprove monitoring is supplemented by periodic manual audits; issues are addressed or investigated as appropriate.
